-
- NB: VB5 Runtime Files are not included in this distribution. You will need to
- download them from http://www.download.com.

- ------------------------
- How to Use FSTransparent
- ------------------------
-
- Where can I use this Control?
- This control is compatible with Visual Basic version 5 and version 4 (32-bit)
- Other environments have not been tested and operation in them are undefined.
- Releases of this control for compatibility in other environments is in the works.
-
- The Visual 5 Runtime Files
- To reduce file size FSTransparent is no longer distributed with the VB5 runtime
- files. If your are using Visual Basic 5 they already (or should) exist on your
- machine. If you are using Visual Basic 4 then you should download these files
- from http://www.download.com.
-
- What is the FSTransparent ActiveX Control?
- FSTransparent a ocx that allows you to render a form transparent when the control
- is placed on the form.
-
- How do I use this control?
- FSTransparent ActiveX Control is very simple to use. It has no properties to set
- neither does it have any events. Simply double click on the FSTransparent icon
- in the toolbox to place the control on the form. Add any additional controls you
- wish to add and press F5. The form containing the FSTransparent OCX is now
- Transparent. Whether the caption area is invisible or not is determined by the
- setting of the properties of the form.
-
- What are the limitations of the FSTransparent ActiveX Control?
- 1) All controls not visible at design time cannot be made visible at runtime.
- 2) The positions of controls set at design time must remain constant at runtime.
- 3) MDIForms are not supported as yet.
-
-
- With FSTransparent OCX you can now achieve such effects as placing Controls directly
- on the Windows desktop. View the sample program TransCalc bundled with the control.
